Keep Your Fall Landscape Flourishing

Solidago Candensis or Canadian Goldenrod (Asteraceae) is a perfect plant to add seasonal color to your garden from late summer to fall. It’s a 4 ft to 5ft tall, slim perennial with fluffy clusters of yellow flowers. It prefers the sun and does well in most soil types. It’s best for naturalized landscapes, meadows, and wildflower gardens. Plant it in fall or spring if you live in zones 3-9.

Does thinking of Goldenrod make you want to sneeze? Good news, people often confuse Goldenrod with Ragweed, the real culprit of those seasonal allergies.
